Saoriyoga

Rocket Yoga, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Through yoga, Saori aims to teach an appreciation of our present state of being, a mindfulness to help counteract the stresses of daily life. Her approach is rooted in the balance of Yin and Yang. Her Yin and Restorative classes encourage inner awareness and self acceptance, while her Yang practices are strong, dynamic and challenging. Students are consistently encouraged to challenge their own physical and emotional boundaries, within a nurturing and non-competitive environment.

Each class is guided with breathing techniques (pranayama), physical (asana) practice and deep relaxation through Savasana. Inviting purity into the body and mind, Saori shares her knowledge to remove attachments (thoughts and fears that may bring negative energy) and instead encourages positive vision, kindness and love, by understanding and accepting the true self.

Saori began practicing yoga in 2002 when she first moved from Japan to London and since then she has had a committed practice and studied widely. Her trainings include a 200-hour with Yoga London, a 500-hour with Yoga People (Rocket and Mandala Vinyasa Yoga) and further advanced trainings with Maty Ezraty, Edward Clark (Tripsichore), Uma Dinsmore-Tuli (Pregnancy Yoga), Murielle Burellier & Sebastian Puchelle & Bernie Clark (Yin Yoga), Anna Ashby (Restorative Yoga), David Swenson (Ashtanga).

Through her studies, she has developed a deep understanding of yoga history, philosophy, theory, chakras and CTM, in relation to the body and mind and wellbeing. She is also a certified Ayurveda Yoga Massage therapist.
