Practicing yoga allows us to release tension, relax and energise the body through physical postures, breathing and relaxation techniques.
Calming the breath and the mind helps us to suspend judgement of ourselves and others, finding focus and calm within, bringing compassion & an acceptance of life, just as it is.
My classes are relaxed and informal, an opportunity to experiment with the body, listening and responding to the feedback we receive; following the journey of the breath, in all it’s ebbs and flows.

My aspiration is to bring yoga to as many people as possible irrespective of their knowledge or ability. Everyone can learn how to take a moment to be still, or become more aware of their bodies by paying attention to their breath.
Practicing yoga has enabled me to appreciate the peace a calm mind can bring. The delightfulness of a deep stretch.
My winding path on the yogic journey began with weekly classes, exploring ways in which to find a sense of calm, a sense of patience. As the years passed I played a little more, and a little deeper. I completed my first yoga teacher training course in 2010 with Andrew Moon at the Atha Yoga School, Cornwall (accredited by IYN).
In 2012 I felt it was time to continue my study of yoga at a deeper level and begin my 500hr training at Mandala Yoga Ashram. During the course I became a resident at the ashram and embraced all the challenges and the many insightful moments that arose. Each day bringing the opportunity to meet with people from all walks of life, and engaging in ways to take my practice from the mat to every moment of every day.
My classes are relaxed and informal, an opportunity to experiment with the body, listening and responding to the feedback we receive; following the journey of the breath, in all it’s ebbs and flows.
