MOVE IT! is our half day activity escape that will get you moving in lots of different ways so that you feel great, have fun whilst doing something healthy for your body and mind and enjoy some delicious food. Simple!

Join us on Saturday 23rd July for our first Move It! inspired by our Run+Yoga Weekender. Learn about good running posture and get personal advice from our Physio, enjoy a local run led by Urban Trail Runner and a post run slow flow yoga class and indulge in a tasty (& nutritious) lunch. And all of this only 5 minutes from Leeds City Centre in our beautiful 18th Century home in Headingley.

Want to know a little more? This half day of movement indulgence will go like this:

PILATES (9.30-10.15am)

We want to ensure you can enjoy running forever, so our Physio and Pilates teacher Paula will be taking us through a pre run session to educate us about good running posture and to help activate our core muscles with Pilates.

RUN (10.15-11.15am)

We are not all the same so there will be a few options for the run depending on your level of fitness and experience. So whether you fancy a gentle jog in company or to go out and challenge yourself with the push of others we’ve got it covered. The runs will be led by Gavin and Helena from Urban Trail Runner.

(Don’t worry if you become injured between booking and attending we always have the option to enjoy a walk).

REFUEL (11.15-11.30am)

You will have time to kick your trainers off and have a post run drink and snack to keep you going through yoga.

YOGA COOL DOWN (11.30-12.30pm)

Join Helena for a post run self-massage and ‘slow-flow’ session to help ease out any niggles and open up all those places that get stiff after a run. This also gives us time for proper relaxation so we digest food properly and leave feeling energised from the morning.

LUNCH (12.30pm onwards)

Lunch will be a super tasty and nutritious affair. Freshly prepared foods from our popular retreat chef Antony who knows how to cram as much taste and health into a meal as you can!
This will be served in a ‘help yourself’ style so you can eat as much as you want, this also means that you can easily nip to your physio clinic appointment throughout.

You can stay as long or as little as you want once you’ve eaten and had your physio appointment. We have plenty of space to relax and chat with new friends or any of the team.

PHYSIO CLINIC (12.30pm onwards)

As part of the package you can book a 10 minute consultation with our Physio to go through any issues you may have.

Saturday 23rd July, 9.30am – 2pm. All of this for only £30 (early bird before 9th July) or £40 thereafter.
