Karen Smith of The Balance Smith and Nerine Pal of Mindful Movement with Nerine are thrilled to be hosting registered dietician, Jean Sullivan, for a Spring-inspired day retreat tailored specifically for women navigating the rich and transformative years of mid-life.
As nature reawakens so can you! Join us and allow yourself to be nourished by a holistic day that replenishes the connections with yourself and others.
Just as the seasons invite us to embrace change, the day begins with the joyful rhythms of belly dance for beginners, complete with colourful coin scarves you get to keep. This is followed by a nutrition workshop tailored to our pre- and post-menopausal needs, providing valuable insights into how we can best nurture our bodies during this transformative stage of life.
As we transition into the afternoon, the focus shifts to grounding and mindfulness. We will embark on a mindful walk, collecting organic materials to create a nature mandala. This will be a time for peaceful contemplation and connection with the natural world. The day continues with a Cultivating Positive Habits session to foster behaviours that champion positive growth for a brighter, more vivacious you.
Throughout the day, we will gather in sharing circles, break bread, and make space to honour the enriching journey that is mid-life. This blend of physical, nutritional, and mental wellness practices is intended to embrace and honour our wisdom, fostering an appreciation for nurturing our best selves.
A delicious lunch will be provided, along with a selection of teas and coffee, ensuring that your physical nourishment is taken care of.
We hope you'll join us and take the first step towards blossoming into the magnificent being you were always meant to be.
