BeBliss Yoga with Emma

Yoga Alliance 200 hour qualified teacher.

I am fortunate to have completed my 200 hour teacher training with John Scott, one of Pattabhi Jois' dedicated students and an inspirational teacher and my classes are true to the Ashtanga tradition.

I also continue to work with my direct teacher Margeurita Colley as well as attending workshops by Scott Johnson, both direct and highly experienced students of John Scott and Patthabi Jois.

The sequence of postures is energetic and flowing, it feels like a dance to the rhythm of the breath, yet it creates peace in body and mind. It requires us to focus on moving in time with our breath while we make and hold a series of shapes (asana). This requires focus and therefore we have no time to think and our minds are at peace. We breathe deeply and slowly which calms the nervous system.

The physical practice is a set sequence which works every part of the body building strength, flexibility and balance as well as cardiovascular strength. We also practice
