A set of classes for those who would like to explore yoga for the first time, or learn techniques they can use to reduce stress and improve health. To explore the stress reduction and health aspects fully, students should try to attend all sessions, increasing long-term success with the techniques taught.
Designed as a set of 90 minute classes at 19:00 on selected Thursday evenings. Space in-between sessions is deliberate to give you time to become familiar with material and be able to ask questions and receive support on subsequent sessions.

My name is Russell. I received my yoga teacher training at Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales, where I gained my accredited Yoga Teaching Diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga. I have been teaching since April 2010, having been a yoga practitioner since 2004 when I also started my daily yoga practice at home.
I teach mixed ability and intermediate classes, encouraging students to work safely to a level they feel appropriate. We are a friendly bunch. My aim is support each students journey, questions are welcome.
Areas of experience, expertise and continuing interest include; Meditation, Hatha yoga, karma yoga, raja yoga and mantra yoga. Continue to explore the great yogic texts such as yoga sutra, bhagavad gita, and upanishads.
2016 should see a few workshops being planned.
