Yoga Retreat - Taking refuge in your body - with mindful movement, breath and meditation to reset and re-evaluate for the season of Spring.
This event is an opportunity to spoil your body and mind. You will roll on soft balls to heal the body from the cold of the winter months and bring energy and bounce into your step allowing you to move forward into Spring with a sense of purpose and clarity.
You will discover ease of movement, an effortlessness in the effort, a joy to be in your body.
The Retreat will also include Breathing techniques and Yoga Meditation which helps restore the balance of body and mind.

My initial Yoga Teacher Training was with the YTTC. I completed Stage 1 & 2 with Marie Quail and Michael McCann. Since then Ive completed several workshops with Donna Farhi who is one of the most sought after Hatha Yoga Teachers in the world. Ive also studied with her Co teacher Lisa Peterson who runs Advanced Teacher Training modules. Lisa has exposed me to several other wonderful Teachers form the School of Body Mind Centering for example Amy Mathews who has written a Yoga Anatomy book (with Leslie Kaminoff)
and also Leila Stewart who is writing a book on the Psoas muscle with Donna Farhi due to be published soon (2017). Helena Walsh who is a Vocals coach and combines her knowledge of yoga and sound. I've completed a Yoga Therapy Course with the Suzanne Cooper in 2012 which developed my understanding of anatomy and how yoga/meditation can help to heal various physical and mental health issues. I plan Yoga Therapy programmes for individuals and their needs. My continuing practice of meditation which I studied with Swami Vibhooti - Kriya Yoga and Prana Vidya made me realise the true benefits of practicing meditation for my own health and improving my knowledge as a Teacher. I then went to the Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales to further my practice of Prana Vidya and Antar Mouna Meditation with Swami Gyan Dharma. I have created a 6 week Mindfulness Course which I have executed about 7 times so far with much success. I also take Mindfulness workshops and sessions for the health Trust and other Businesses. Yoga is Mindfulness but with the Mindfulness Courses I can teach aspects that we don't have time for in general Yoga classes.
My mission is to bring Meditation Practice into as many peoples lives as possible. I take short 4 week classes on meditation to invite a flavour of different meditation practices.
