I teach Hatha Yoga in a progressive scheme with the focus of building up strength in the body with many options to suit both those new to yoga and those with experience on & off the mat. By following the aims of the yogic principles and the yogic branches and aspiring to experience them through safe, continually and gradually developing stages, practice becomes progressive, regulated and beneficial.
I am also an internationally registered Relax & Renew ® Restorative Yoga Teacher and teach this gentler form of yoga with a great focus on raising an awareness about conscious rest and deep relaxation in our body and mind. In a restorative yoga session, you practise the postures with the aid of props to support the physical body in position of ease and comfort. By doing this you facilitate positive relaxation response through your body’s parasympathetic nervous system and limbic system for energetic, emotional and mental equanimity. By all my practices, I aim guiding you to raise your awareness of your body, mind & emotions. It also motivates you to achieve your own goals through modified or challenging posture practices created for every single one of you individually, even in a group environment. I offer a professional and safe guidance for you to develop an advanced physical, mental and emotional practice by building up a good foundation of balance, strength and flexibility on & off the mat. My sessions are an idea to share the thoughts, feelings and experiences about total well-being and personal growth in a very friendly, non-competitive, non-judgmental, fun and relaxing environment, and incorporate Asana (posture), Vinyasa (flow), Pranayama (Breathing techniques), Meditation and Guided Deep Relaxation practices.

WHAT TO BRING:
I provide yoga mats and blocks for beginners and new students, but please feel free to bring yours as they are in limited availability. I also recommend you to bring a blanket/a big towel with you to use it for different purposes, especially for the deep relaxation session as you may need to use it to keep your body warm and cosy during the cold days.
My 4.5 years intensive yoga teaching training qualifies me as a Level 4 (500+ hours) Yoga Teacher and enables me to guide and teach you expertly and safely. My training with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) is one of the most professional trainings in the world and the assurance of a long and continuous study in many aspects of Yoga in a deepest level: Anatomy and Physiology, the subtle body, breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation, the philosophy and ethics of Yoga.
